Enough Is Enough

Enough is enough, is a phrase commonly used by someone who is fed up. Usually in the state of depleting patience, and in observance of a line being crossed. But today I want to look at it in a different light, and in a way that has to be repeatedly put in front of me for me to acknowledge.

Enough in this sense could mean: used to indicate that one is unwilling to tolerate any more of something undesirable (Dictionary.com). However, I want to look at it in this prospective: As much or as many as required (Dictionary.com). THAT’S RIGHT! AS MUCH OR AS MANY AS REQUIRED! Meaning enough is enough. You are enough! You don’t need more to live your life the way that it is intended to be lived. You don’t need to look at others and seek the life that they are living. You need to look at you, and what is already in you, so that you can understand how to pull it out, develop it, and use it to live your best life.

Too many people in our society are looking to gain more and more things that’s not even needed, and once they get it, they are still not happy with what they have, because they refused to differentiate their needs from their wants. Now don’t get me wrong it is nice to get some of your wants in addition to what you need, but please don’t confuse your needs with your wants. It is time to take a look at what success is to you. Take the time to recognize your talents, gifts, and abilities that you need to achieve to get there. And then examine what you have to develop and refine. Once you are able to do that, you are able to get closer to where you need to be.

You are Enough, and that is enough to get you to your dreams. You are enough, and that will impact those who you are made to impact. You are enough, and God created you that way. You are enough, and despite what anyone says, that will never change. And as you own it, and lean on the power that is in you to fill in all of the gaps, your life will change and you will touch those in which you were meant to be enough to touch.
